Message	There isn't much space between the sprocket and the covers. Not to mention that without the upper timing belt covers the lower unit is essentially a bucket for debris. I saw a photo where someone had cut an oval opening between each set of sprockets. That looked OK as well, but allows far more space for crap to get in there.
